Customer loyalty points software built into your POS
There is a super shop on every corner now, and a new clothing outlet opens in your market every season. A customer who has a reason to come back to you, rather than the shop next door, is worth more than any discount banner. Loyalty points give them that reason.
Most small shops never run a loyalty scheme because it sounds complicated: plastic cards, a separate app, a notebook of points that nobody keeps up. In Posify24, loyalty points are part of the POS. They are on from the start, they work off the customer's phone number, and there is nothing extra to buy or install.

Points earned on every bill, automatically
When you attach a customer to a sale, by searching their name or phone number, they earn points on what they spend. By default a customer earns 1 point for every ৳100. You can change that amount to suit your margins, for example 1 point per ৳200 for a grocery with thin margins, or 1 point per ৳50 for a boutique that wants to reward loyal buyers more.
There are no cards to print. The customer's phone number is their loyalty account. Points show on the customer's record and on the sale, so they always know where they stand.
Spend points as a discount
Points are only worth collecting if they can be spent. At the POS, a customer with points can redeem them as a discount on their bill. By default each point is worth ৳1, and you can set a different value. A customer who has collected 150 points on ৳15,000 of shopping takes ৳150 off their next bill, and walks out feeling looked after.
Because redemption is a discount on the sale, it shows up correctly in your sales and profit figures. You do not have to keep a separate record of what the scheme costs you.
Know which customers are worth keeping
Loyalty works best when you know who your good customers are. The Sales Insights screen groups customers into segments over the last 12 months, including those who may be leaving: people who used to buy regularly and have gone quiet. A call or SMS to them, reminding them of the points waiting on their account, is a simple way to bring them back. See reports and sales insights.
The customer-wise sales report shows how much each customer has bought over any period, so you can thank your top customers personally at Eid.
Simple to explain at the counter
A loyalty scheme fails if the cashier cannot explain it in one sentence. With Posify24 it is easy: "You get a point for every hundred taka, and each point is a taka off next time." The customer gives their phone number, the points are added, and the next bill shows how many they have.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to switch loyalty points on?
No. Loyalty points are on by default. Attach a customer to the sale and they start earning straight away. In your company settings you can adjust how much a customer must spend per point and what a point is worth, or switch the scheme off.
Does the customer need an app or a card?
No. The customer's account is found by their name or phone number at the counter. Their points are kept on their customer record in Posify24.
Can I change how many points customers earn?
Yes. Set the amount a customer must spend to earn one point. The default is ৳100 per point, but you can make it higher or lower to fit your margins.
Do customers earn points on credit sales?
Yes. Points are earned on the bill amount after discounts, whether the customer pays it all now or leaves part as due. They are earned on the new sale only, not on the previous due shown on the invoice.
What happens to the points if a sale is voided?
They are taken back. When a sale is voided or cancelled, the points it earned come off the customer's balance and any points spent on it are returned. A customer also cannot spend more points than they have.
