Medicine distributor software in Bangladesh

A medicine distributor carries thousands of strips and boxes from several companies, sells them on credit to pharmacies across a district, and answers to each company for sales, returns and expiry. Posify24 is medicine distributor software in Bangladesh that keeps the depot, the MIOs, the pharmacies' dues and every batch's expiry in one system.

Choose "Distribution" at signup and pick the Medicine segment. The account comes with medicine categories and the units you sell in - strip, box, bottle, vial and ampoule - and it uses your words: field staff are "MIO" and a customer's licence field is "Drug Licence No.". It runs in the browser, so the depot, the office and the owner's phone see the same figures. Posify24 is the same distributor management software other distributors use, set up for medicine.

Batch and expiry on every line

Every purchase line records the batch and its expiry date. When an order is delivered, stock leaves earliest-expiry-first (FEFO), so short-dated strips go out before they turn into a claim with the company. The near-expiry report shows what has to move soon. See batch and expiry tracking.

MIOs, territories and the pharmacies they serve

Every pharmacy belongs to a territory and has an assigned MIO. Orders the MIO books carry their name, and the rep-wise product sales report shows what each MIO sold against their monthly target, in quantity and in value. Commission setup works out what each has earned. See field sales and territories.

Pharmacy dues, by shop, MIO and territory

Medicine moves on credit. Posify24 keeps each pharmacy's opening due, every invoice and every collection, and a credit limit that refuses a sale above it. The due ageing report groups what each pharmacy owes into 0-30, 31-60, 61-90 and 90+ days, by territory, and the bills outstanding report shows it by MIO. See the due ledger.

Orders, delivery and returns

Book an order before the stock has arrived and deliver in part or in full when it does; each delivery records the gate pass, vehicle, driver and address. See sales orders and delivery.

A pharmacy's return names the order each item came back from, and can take back no more than that order delivered. Goods sold before you started on Posify24 come back too, naming the old invoice. On the return screen, an invoice number or a scanned product finds the order.

Frequently asked questions

Does the software track batch and expiry for medicine?

Yes. Every purchase line records the batch and expiry, deliveries take earliest-expiry-first, and the near-expiry report shows what has to move before it expires.

Can my MIOs book orders on their phones?

They can sign in through a phone's browser with their own user and roles and book orders there. Posify24 does not have a separate order-taking app, GPS tracking or visit planning today.

Can a pharmacy return goods it bought before we used Posify24?

Yes. The return names the old invoice - its date, and its number if known - instead of an order in Posify24, as long as it is dated before the day you started on Posify24.

Can I carry medicine and other products in one account?

Yes. Add another segment, such as FMCG, beside Medicine. Their categories and units combine, and batch and expiry apply per product category.
