Retail POS software in Bangladesh for super shops and stores

Posify24 is retail POS software in Bangladesh for super shops, departmental stores and neighbourhood shops. A super shop sells hundreds of items to hundreds of people a day. When billing is slow, the queue grows; when the internet drops, the counter stops; and when stock lives in a register, nobody knows what is really on the shelf until a customer asks for it and it is gone.

Posify24 is a cloud POS, inventory and accounts system that runs in the browser on a counter PC, laptop or tablet. Every sale updates stock, customer dues and your accounts at the same time, so the numbers you see in the evening are the numbers from the counter. The POS counter keeps selling when the internet drops, and its sales go up by themselves when the line is back.

At signup you choose your shop type, such as grocery, clothing, pharmacy or general store. Posify24 sets up matching categories and units. If you sell more than one kind of product, add more than one shop type to the same account.

Billing that keeps the queue moving

The Posify24 POS screen has a "scan here" box. Scan the barcode printed on the pack - the manufacturer's code, not one you have to print yourself - and the item drops into the cart. A product can have more than one barcode, so an old pack and a new pack both scan. No barcode on the item? Search by name instead.

The counter is built for speed: type `5*` and then scan to add five of an item, and the keyboard does the rest - F2 to search, F4 to hold a sale, F8 for the exact cash amount, F9 to complete and print, Esc back to the scan box. Quick-cash buttons offer the exact bill and the round notes above it.

If a customer forgets their wallet, put the sale on hold, serve the next person and resume it later. A customer can pay part in cash and part by card or bKash and Nagad on the same bill. Posify24 works out the change, and if they pay only part, the rest is saved as a due on their name. Press "Complete & print" and an 80 mm thermal receipt comes out.

Keeps selling when the internet drops

In Bangladesh the line goes down at the worst moment. Once the POS has been opened online on a counter device, it keeps working without internet:

  • The POS opens and scans from the copy of your products it keeps on the device, with the stock and prices as of its last sync.
  • A sale made with no internet is kept on the device and prints a receipt with the counter's own number (T1-000123). When the line is back the waiting sales go up by themselves, oldest first, and each gets its normal invoice number. The header shows "Offline" and how many sales are waiting.
  • The device keeps the cashier signed in for days, so the counter does not stop at a login page that needs the internet. The owner can sign a lost device out from the business profile.
  • A cashier PIN locks the counter when they step away, instead of signing them out; the cart and the waiting sales stay.

Reports, purchases and settings still need the internet; the POS counter is what keeps going.

Stock you can trust, item by item

Posify24 keeps a stock balance for every product and records every movement in stock history, so you can see where each piece went.

Set a minimum stock level for each product and the low stock list shows what to reorder. The out of stock list shows what is already gone. Once a month, do a physical stock count and enter the real numbers; damaged or lost items go in as wastage, so your stock value stays honest. See inventory management for the full list.

For items that arrive without a barcode, print barcode labels straight from the purchase order, in large or small layouts.

Regular customers, dues and loyalty

Most neighbourhood stores have customers who buy on baki. Posify24 keeps each customer's opening due, total due and credit limit. If a sale would push a customer over their limit, Posify24 refuses it, so the counter staff do not have to make that call. Every invoice shows the previous due, and the due ledger and due ageing report show who has owed money for 30, 60 or 90 days.

Loyalty points are on by default. A customer earns points on what they spend (1 point per ৳100 unless you change it) and can use them as a discount on a later bill.

More than one outlet

When you open a second outlet, the hard part is seeing both from one place. With multi-branch, each branch has its own users and opening cash and can link to its own warehouse. Reports filter by branch, and you move stock between branches with a stock transfer: send it, and the other branch receives it. How many branches you can add depends on your plan.

Frequently asked questions

What is the retail POS software in Bangladesh made for?

Posify24 is made for shops in Bangladesh: prices in taka, bKash and Nagad on the bill, customers on baki with a credit limit, VAT on the receipt, and a counter that keeps selling when the line drops. It covers billing, stock, purchases, dues and accounts in one system.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Posify24 is cloud software and runs in the browser on a PC, laptop, tablet or phone. You sign in with your shop's address and your user name. A barcode scanner that types into the browser works for scanning at the counter.

Does Posify24 work without internet?

The POS counter does. Open the POS once with the internet on the counter device; after that it opens, scans and sells without internet, keeps those sales on the device and sends them, oldest first, when the line is back. Reports, purchases and settings need the internet.

Can I scan the barcode printed on the product?

Yes. Add the manufacturer's barcode (EAN, UPC) to the product, or several if the pack changed, and scanning it adds the item. Products without one can get a printed label.

Can my cashier see my profit?

Not unless you allow it. Users and roles control which screens and actions each person can use, and cost figures in reports are shown only to owner and admin roles.

Can I add VAT to my bills?

Yes. Set your VAT percentage in the company settings and the POS adds it on the amount after discount and prints a tax line on the receipt. Posify24 does not produce NBR Mushak forms today.

How much does it cost?

Plans and current prices are on the pricing page. Every plan starts with a free trial, and the number of users and branches depends on the plan.
