Restaurant POS software in Bangladesh for restaurants and cafes

At 9 pm on a Thursday, every table is full, two families are waiting at the door, and a delivery rider is asking for his parcel. The manager is adding bills on a calculator and trying to remember which table already ordered dessert.

Posify24 is restaurant POS software in Bangladesh that shows every table on one screen, keeps each table's order open until the guests are ready to pay, and bills dine-in, takeaway and delivery from the same place. It runs in the browser on a PC, tablet or phone.

Choose "Restaurant" as your business type at signup and the Restaurant POS screen, tables and reservations are ready to set up.

See every table at a glance

The Restaurant POS opens on a table grid. Each table shows its status: available, occupied, reserved or cleaning, and the top of the screen counts how many tables are in each state. Set up tables with a number, a section (ground floor, rooftop, family zone), a seating capacity and the order in which they appear.

When guests sit down, tap the table and start their order. Add from the menu by category, or search an item by name. When they order more later, open the table again: the order is held on that table and kept on the server, so it shows on every device in the branch - the counter PC, the manager's tablet - until the bill is paid. A box at the top finds a table by its number or a takeaway by its token.

Dine-in, takeaway and delivery in one place

Every order has a type: dine-in, takeaway or delivery. Beside the tables, the counter orders panel has "+ Takeaway" and "+ Delivery": an order starts there without a table, and a delivery asks for the customer's name, phone and address before it is paid. The panel lists the day's takeaways and deliveries with their token, the customer, the items, the total and whether it is paid.

Token numbers, on the bill or on a slip

A prepaid order - a takeaway or delivery, or every order in a fast food shop - gets a token: the branch's next number for the day (41, 42, 43 ...), called out when the food is ready. You choose how your restaurant takes payment: all prepaid, all postpaid, or mixed per order type (for example dine-in paid at the end, takeaway paid when ordering), and whether the token prints large on the invoice or on a separate slip for the customer to hold.

The paid bill carries your restaurant's name, address and phone, the invoice number and time, the order ("Dine in · Table T7", "Takeaway", "Delivery"), the items, the total, how it was paid and the change. The token slip carries the restaurant, the token number, the order and time.

At checkout, give a discount if needed, choose the payment method, enter the amount received, and Posify24 shows the change or the amount still due. Payment methods include cash, card and mobile banking such as bKash and Nagad, each linked to its own account so you can see what came in by each method. See bKash and Nagad payments.

On a phone, the Restaurant POS switches to a layout with Menu and Cart tabs, so a manager can take an order away from the counter.

Reservations without the notebook

Phone bookings for Friday lunch or a birthday dinner usually go into a diary at the cash counter. In Posify24, a reservation belongs to a table and records the guest's name, phone, date and time, how long they will stay (from 30 minutes to 3 hours), the number of guests and a note such as "birthday cake at 8". Mark it pending, confirmed, cancelled or no-show, so staff know which bookings to hold the table for.

Ingredients, cash and the month-end picture

Restaurants buy rice, chicken, oil and vegetables almost every day. In Posify24, a purchase can mark items as raw materials, so ingredient buying is recorded with its supplier and its cost. See purchase management.

Rent, gas, staff salaries and other running costs go in as expenses. The cashbook and the daily opening and closing report show what the cash box should hold at the end of each night. Profit and loss, and the rest of the accounts and cash book, bring sales and costs together. Sales Insights compares this period with the last one and shows revenue and profit by month.

Frequently asked questions

Does Posify24 print kitchen tickets or show orders on a kitchen screen?

No. Posify24 does not have kitchen order tickets (KOT) or a kitchen display today. Orders are held on the table in the POS, and the kitchen works from your existing process.

Can I split one bill between several guests?

Not today. Posify24 bills one order per table and does not split a bill by guest. If a group wants separate bills, take their orders as separate orders from the start.

Does it calculate food cost from recipes?

No. Recipe costing is not available today. You can record ingredient purchases as raw materials, and profit and loss reports bring purchases and sales together for the overall picture.

Can waiters take orders on their phones?

There is no separate waiter app. The Restaurant POS runs in a phone's browser with a Menu and Cart layout, so staff can use it on a phone with their own login.

Does Posify24 give takeaway customers a token number?

Yes. A prepaid order gets the branch's next token for the day, printed large on the invoice or on a separate slip - you choose which in the restaurant settings, and whether dine-in, takeaway and delivery are paid when ordering or at the end.

Can I see which tables are reserved tonight?

Yes. Reserved tables show on the table grid, and each table's reservations list the guest, time, guest count and status.

Set up your tables and menu, and run tonight's service from one screen.
