Accounting software for shops, with a cash book that fills itself
Most shop owners do not want to become accountants. You want to know three things: how much cash should be in the drawer tonight, what you spent this month, and whether the shop actually made a profit. Getting those answers from a cash book, a sales memo pad and a pile of bills takes hours, and the numbers rarely agree.
Posify24 builds your accounts from the work you already do. Every sale, purchase, payment and expense goes into the right account as it happens. At the end of the day the cash book is ready, and at the end of the month the profit and loss is one click away. No double typing, and no separate accounting program to keep in step.

A cash book you do not have to write
When you make a sale on the POS, the money goes to the account of the payment method: cash, bank, card, bKash or Nagad. When you pay a supplier, it comes out of the account you paid from. Posify24 keeps a cash book and a statement for every bank account from these entries, so you see each movement with its date and document.
The daily opening and closing report shows the balance each day started with, what came in, what went out and what should be left. Count the drawer, compare, and you know the same night whether anything is short. Mobile wallets are tracked the same way; see bKash and Nagad payments.
Expenses, deposits and withdrawals in their place
Shop rent, electricity bill, staff tea, van fuel. Record each as an expense under its account head, with the payment method it was paid by. Money coming in that is not a sale, such as a customer paying an old due or the owner putting in capital, is a deposit. Money the owner takes out is a withdrawal. Each one lands in the right place, and the expense and deposit reports show where the money went.
Customer payments recorded as deposits also reduce that customer's due, so your due ledger and your cash book always agree.
Account heads that match your business
Posify24 organises your accounts into heads with a class (asset, liability, equity, income, cost of sales and expense) and a code. You can add the heads your business needs, such as a separate head for each kind of expense, and keep assets, liabilities and equity recorded too. Accounts run by fiscal year.
Profit and loss, balance sheet and more
Because sales, purchases and expenses all flow into accounts, Posify24 can show your profit and loss and income statement for any period, and a balance sheet of what the business owns and owes. The stakeholder ledger and register show the full history with each customer and supplier. Cost figures are shown only to owner and admin roles, so your margins stay private. See reports and sales insights for the rest of the reporting.

Who it is for

Your accountant can use the same reports at month end.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know accounting to use this?
No. You record sales, purchases and expenses as you normally would, and Posify24 puts them in the right accounts. The reports are there when you or your accountant need them.
Does Posify24 do bank reconciliation or a trial balance?
Not today. Posify24 gives you bank statements, a cash book, profit and loss, income statement and a balance sheet. Matching against your bank's own statement is done by comparing the two.
Can I record expenses paid by bKash?
Yes. Choose bKash as the payment method on the expense, and it comes out of your bKash account, not your cash.
Can I export reports for my accountant?
Yes. Reports export to CSV and PDF, so you can share the cash book, profit and loss or expense report with your accountant.
Can my cashier see the profit figures?
Cost figures are shown only to owner and admin roles. Roles and permissions also control which screens each user can open.
