POS software for Bangladesh shops that keeps the counter moving

The counter is where your shop earns its money, and where most mistakes happen. One customer wants half in cash and half by bKash, a regular asks to pay next week. On a busy Eid evening, a memo book and a calculator cannot keep up.

Posify24 is cloud POS software built for shops in Bangladesh. It runs in the browser, with prices in ৳. Every sale updates your stock, your customer's due and your cash book at the same time, so the numbers you see at closing match what really happened at the counter.

Billing that does not slow your queue

In Posify24 you scan the barcode and the item is on the bill at once. If a product has no barcode, search it by name or code. If a customer buys something you have not set up yet, add a manual product line and move on. For clothing and footwear, pick the size from the variant list instead of looking for a separate product.

If a customer steps away to fetch one more item, hold the sale, serve the next person and resume the held bill later. Press Complete & print and an 80 mm thermal receipt comes out. Goods without a barcode? Print your own with barcode and label printing.

Every way your customer pays, on one bill

Customers in Bangladesh pay in many ways, often on the same bill. Posify24 lets you take the whole amount by one method, or split it: ৳2,000 cash, ৳1,500 by bKash and the rest by card. Each payment method (Cash, Bank, Card, bKash, Nagad, Rocket) is linked to its own account, so at the end of the day you know how much went into the drawer and how much went into each mobile wallet. Read more in bKash and Nagad payments.

Enter the amount tendered and the screen shows the change. Quick buttons fill the exact amount or a round note.

Baki at the counter, with a limit

Many good customers buy on credit, and small dues grow until nobody remembers who owes what. In Posify24 you attach a customer to the sale by name or phone. If they pay only part of the bill, the rest is added to their due automatically and shows on their account.

You can also set a credit limit per customer. If a sale would push them over that limit, Posify24 refuses it, so the counter staff cannot give away more credit than you allowed. All of this feeds your due ledger.

Discounts, VAT and loyalty without a calculator

Give a discount on the bill and Posify24 works out the rest. If your company has a VAT percentage set, it is added on the amount after discount and printed as a "Tax (x%)" line on the receipt. More detail is on the VAT on invoices page.

Regular customers earn loyalty points on every bill and can spend them as a discount on the next one. If you sell through more than one channel, such as your shop and your Facebook page, choose the platform on the sale so your reports show which channel earned what.

Who it is for

The POS screen is the heart of Posify24 for any shop that sells over a counter. It matters most to retail shops and super shops, grocery and mudi shops that handle long queues and baki customers, and clothing and footwear shops that sell by size. Restaurants and cafes get their own table-based screen, described on the restaurant POS page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a barcode scanner with Posify24?

Yes. The POS screen has a scan field, so a scanner that types the code into the browser adds the item to the bill right away. If you do not have a scanner yet, you can search products by name or code with the keyboard.

Does the POS work without internet?

The POS counter does. Open the POS once with the internet on that device; after that it opens, scans and sells without internet, keeps those sales on the device and sends them, oldest first, when the line is back. Other screens - reports, purchases, settings - need the internet. Each offline receipt carries the counter's own number (T1-000123); the sale gets its invoice number when it goes up.

Can one bill be paid partly in cash and partly by bKash?

Yes. Switch to split payment, add each method with its amount, and the screen shows what is still due. Any amount left unpaid goes to the customer's due if a customer is attached to the sale.

What happens if I make a mistake on a completed sale?

A confirmed invoice is never deleted. You cancel or void it, and it keeps its number, so your invoice serial stays continuous and your records stay honest. Only confirmed sales count in stock, dues and reports.

What printers does the receipt support?

The POS receipt is laid out for 80 mm thermal paper. Sale orders from the back office print on A4 as a standard invoice. Printing goes through your browser, so the printer has to be installed on the device you sell from.
